Farewell to the 'Flete Party
We are delighted to announce that in light of the recent planning approval for a new riverside quad on the site of the Waynflete Building, we will be holding a 'Farewell to the 'Flete' event in College on Saturday 28th June.
To mark this special occasion, we are hosting a family-friendly Party in College, offering a final opportunity to have one last look inside the Waynflete building, while sharing the best of Magdalen with your family and friends.
The afternoon's activities will include:
- Visit the Waynflete building one last time
- Refreshments on New Building Lawn (pizza, ice cream and plenty of Pimm's)
- Face painting and children's entertainment
- An exhibition of Waynflete memories and photos, alongside pictures and models of the new plans for the site
- A champagne 'Toast to the Waynflete'
